Dark fingers and toes sometimes get us in a very embarrassing situation especially if we have a fair skin tone. Skin discoloration or skin pigmentation, in today’s life, is a very common problem which most of the women are facing whether she is working lady or a housewife. This basically happens due to exposure of skin to sunlight (production of pigment melanin), washing clothes and utensils, poor moisturizing, change of environment, poor living style and less blood circulation. Here are some of the methods which we can follow to get glowing hands and toes and flaunt them in the way we want.

1. Gram Flour, lemon, honey and curd:

Take 2 tbsp of gram flour (besan), 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp curd and make a thick paste. Apply it on your affected areas and leave it for some time or till it dries. Then remove it by doing the light scrubbing. Wash and apply moisturizer. Use it on a daily basis till you get the desired result.

2. Lemon juice and sugar:

Exfoliation or scrubbing is the best way to clean your hands as it lightens your skin color as well as makes them smoother and softer. Mix 1 tsp each of lemon juice and sugar properly and scrub it on your hands till it gets properly absorb into the skin. Lemon juice contains vitamin C that helps in skin discoloration and sugar is a good scrubber.

3. Aloe vera gel:

Aloe vera is one of the natural ingredients, which when used on daily basis, posses the quality of giving even skin tone and lighter complexion. Take an aloe vera leaf and extract its gel. Apply it on your toes and fingers and massage for 5 minutes and then leave it for 15-20 minutes. Finally, wash the hands and moisturize properly. Best results are obtained when used twice a day till you get desired results.

4. Sugar and olive oil:

Olive oil has the quality of hydrating the skin and it also gives nourishment to it. It helps in discoloration which happens as a result of sun tan. Mix 2 tbsp olive oil with 2 tbsp sugar and scrub it on your hands and toes and leave for 5-7 minutes. Wash n moisturize. Do this daily.

5. Egg white, honey and besan pack:

Take 1 egg white, 1 tsp honey, and 1 tbsp besan and make a thick mixture. Apply this paste on affected areas and let it dry. Take a pumice stone and scrub it gently. Wash the hands and toes and moisturize. Use it 2 times a week for 2 weeks for better results.

6. Lemon juice:

Take 1 lemon slice and rub it on your hands and toes for half an hour, wash it off and moisturize it to prevent dryness. Lemon is a natural bleaching ingredient that helps in skin lightening.

7. Potato juice:

Take 1 raw potato, grate it and extract its juice. Apply this on hands and toes, keep it for half an hour and wash. Then apply some oil to hydrate your skin. Potato has bleaching qualities that can lighten the skin naturally. Use it twice a week till you get the desired results.

8. Baking soda and rose water:

Take 1 tbsp of baking soda and 1 tbsp rose water. Blend it properly and dip your affected area into the solution for 10 minutes. Take a lemon slice, add a few drops of glycerine to it and rub this on your fingers and toes for 5 minutes. Wash it off and moisturize. Use it twice a week for 2 weeks for the better results. Baking soda is composed of sodium and pH neutralizer which exfoliates the dead skin cells. The regular application lightens your skin tone.
