Well, hello trends of 2017, we welcome you gladly and we hope this will be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Have you noticed the halo trend already? Everyone does it. Jeffree Star does it, Manny Mua does it, and now – Lustrelux. Actually, it was posted 4 months ago (proving that Lustrelux is ahead on trends) but it seems like this is yet to become huge. You heard it here first!

The channel does all kinds of amazing videos, very easy on the eye, very cute and super-entertaining. The halo look is a very specific one, and once you get the hang of it, you’re guaranteed to enjoy the reflection in your mirror every time.

And, it may seem elaborate at first. But you’ll realize soon enough that it just takes moves a little different from all the 2016 trends, and then you’re ready for 2017.

AND it involves winged liner. So it doesn’t get any better than this.

Personally, I was a little skeptic, at first. I follow Jeffree Star on Youtube, and the last few videos seem to be all about this. But this one from Lustrelux combines the 2016 mattes and the 2017 edge and I’ll admit, it kinda grew on me. Enough to just drop everything and go for my makeup bag.
