Whilst facial pores are essential and provide our skin with room to breathe and produce oil, they may sometimes look unaesthetic and clogged. Therefore, to reduce their appearance and minimize them permanently, today, I am back with some amazing tips and tricks. Stay tuned!
1. Salicylic acid:
Salicylic acid is lipophilic, meaning that it can penetrate deep into oily skin to clean pores effectively from within, thus, minimizing their size and appearance on your skin’s surface. Also, salicylic acid helps to reduce sebum production in your pores which make it apt for people suffering from acne and pimples as well.
2. Retinoid:
Retinoid is available both in oral and topical form and helps to reduce oil secretions from your sebaceous glands which in turn make your pores look smaller. However, you should consult your doctor and dermatologist before starting the treatment so as to know whether you are allergic to it and that it does not mess up with your other medications.
3. Laser surgery:
If your pores are exceptionally big and prominent, you may want to opt for laser treatment to shrink them permanently. Laser treatments work by inducing collagen remodeling and works especially well in reducing acne scars and big crater like pores on your skin’s surface. However, remember to consult only a well-trained and experienced technician so as to enjoy a hassle-free experience and achieve best results.
4. Tri-chloro-acetic acid treatment:
It is a simple technique which helps in delivering superior results.
