Lately we have seen a lot of drugstore tutorials because we love finding cheap makeup. It’s tiring when we have to wait for certain products to be on sale or use YouTuber’s discount codes. However, what you probably haven’t seen by now is a tutorial with very expensive products. Like over $1K!

That’s the price of beauty sometimes and it’s mind-blowing. Amanda Ensig is a makeup obsessed creator of beauty reviews and tutorials for YouTube. The 25-year-old claims that she buys expensive products all the time, and is giving us a $1K makeup tutorial. If you are as curious as we are, let’s take a look:

Face

A lot of people on her YouTube channel are complaining because she is using a very dark foundation which doesn’t really match her skin tone. She continues with concealer, powder, bronzer, blush and highlighter.

Eyes

For the eyes, she is using the Kylie Cosmetic’s Palette while creating a brown smokey eye. She follows with a black eyeliner and then puts on false eyelashes. Ta daa!

Lips

To finish the whole look, she uses a lip pencil in pink and then goes over it with a lipstick.

Even though her makeup, in the end, looks pretty cool, she got a lot of negativity from her subscribers. Someone commented:

“But beauty gurus don’t have to spend on makeup, they get it for free”

Someone else added:

“I love you Amanda, but girl I’m not seeing the self tanner…maybe check your shade before you start applying.”
