3 Ways On How To Make Mascara At Home

Ingredients needed
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 4 tsp aloe vera gel
- 1/2 tsp beeswax
- 1-2 capsules of activated charcoal
Procedure
- The first step is to melt the coconut oil and the beeswax together by putting them in a mason jar and placing it in a pot or pan of boiling water.
- Once the oils have completely melted, mix in the activated charcoal and then remove from heat.
- Stir in the aloe vera gel and promptly pour into a medicine dropper and then push your new mascara into your mascara tube slowly.
- You can also use a zip lock bag, with one small hole cut out of one of the corners, if you do not have a medicine dropper on hand that you can use.
The famous WELLNESS MAMA beauty blogger shares her secret recipe on how to make natural mascara; made from only natural ingredients galore.
Ingredients
- 1/4 tsp black mineral powder
- 1/4 tsp bentonite clay
- 1/8 tsp (about 4 drops) vegetable glycerine
- 1/4 tsp (plus more if needed) aloe vera gel
- 5 drops lavender essential oil
Procedure
- Put all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix it until you get a smooth paste.
- Add more aloe vera gel if needed to get a better consistency.
- Carefully put the mixture in a medicine dropper with a spatula and slowly squirt it into the mascara container.
- Alternately, you can add the ingredients directly to the mascara tube and mix with the mascara brush, though it takes a while of mixing to get the ingredients smooth inside the tube.
- Use as you would regular mascara.
- To remove: Use a washcloth with warm water or use olive oil as a natural eye makeup remover.

Ingredients:
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp shea butter
- 1 1/2 tsp bees wax
- 4 tsp of aloe vera gel
- 1-2 capsules of activated charcoal
Procedure:
- In a small saucepan, place the first four ingredients and heat until the mixture is completely melted.
- Add in activated charcoal and remove from the heat.
- Place the mixture in a plastic bag, allow it to cool a bit and then move the contents to one corner of the bag.
Cut a small hole at the corner, insert it into an empty sterilized mascara tube, and gently squeeze mascara into tube.
