A ponytail is what you always go for when you don’t know what else to do, right? Well, not really, because if you add a twist of creativity, this simple style goes from basic to beautiful in an instant.
Kayley Melissa has seven ponies to try. One for every day of the week and believe me when I say that each of them is cute and easy to pull off.
Make sure to vote your favorite one down in the comments section below.
Monday: Sectioned Pony
You can start off by making a circle around the top of your head and then sectioning your hair into a ponytail. Wrap your hair over the elastic to hide the band and with the rest of your hair, gather itinto another pony.
A pony within a pony.
Tuesday: Braided Pony
Brush all of your hair into a high pony tail and secure it with two hair elastics. Braid the pony until the end and loosen up the braid to give it a more casual and effortless look.
Wednesday: Layered Pony
Take a large chunk of hair from the front of your head on both sides and tie it back as if you’re doing a half-up style. Then, flip the small pony once or twice backward to create a twisted look.
You can do this twice more with two lower section of your hair to create a twisted, layered look.
Brilliant!
Thursday: Twisted Pony
While taking a large chunk of hair on the left side, pull what’s left into a ponytail. Then, twist the hair that is left out backwards by loosening it to give more volume. Keep the twist in place by wrapping the hair band and clipping it underneath.
Friday: Mohawk Pony
Friday asks for something more funkier. So, braid the top layer of your hair and then pull up your entire hair including the braid too, into a high ponytail.
Classy and sassy!
Saturday: Extra-Volume Pony
Pull your hair into a pony, teasing at your crown to give a lot of volume. Then, flip it over your head to make a second pony before combining this with the first pony. Yay!
Sunday: Knotted Pony
You start by bringing two pieces of hair from the front of your head around the back. Loop them around the bulk of your hair in a knot and keep this secured with a pin under your hair. Repeat until all of your hair is knotted.
