Today, I am going to share some more pretty ways to create nice ombre lips. I’m also sharing a cute Korean style of lip gradation in this post. So now, let’s get into the details.
Orange-Coral Gradient Lips Makeup Tutorial
Step 1:
First, you have to moisturize your lips well and then blot excess lip balm to avoid greasiness.
Step 2:
To cancel out lip pigmentation, apply some concealer on the lips and around the mouth. Blend it with a sponge and apply some compact powder to set the concealer. This trick helps to hide the darkness around the lips and also provides a neutral colour so that the lip color appears brighter and perfect.
Step 3:
Now, use a shade darker than your lipstick to line or contour your lips. Here, I used a pink lip liner. Start drawing your lips from the cupid’s bow and then line out the lip. Line your lower lip line as well.
Step 4:
Next, apply a coral orange lipstick on the centre of the lip and smoothly blend the shade with the lip liner.
Step 5:
To highlight the centre of your lips, apply some tinted lip balm with a brush. Lightly dab it with a brush and blend the shades smoothly to get a natural tinted finish.
Step 6:
Finally, apply some compact to correct the line, if required.
Korean Lip Gradation Tutorial with Purple and Mauve

This trick helps to hide the darkness around the lips and also provides a neutral colour so that the lip color appears brighter and perfect.
Step 3:
For the Korean lip gradation style, you have to use a lighter shade to draw your lips. So basically, you have to apply a light colour, almost nude shade on outer line and a dark shade on the inner line. Here I used a nude pinky mauve shade as an outer shade and I started from cupid’s bow and then lined my upper as well as lower lip line.
Step 4:
Since my lips looked dry I again applied the lip balm to get that glossy look and blended the mauve shade smoothly to get a natural finish.
Step 5:
Next, I applied a purple lipstick on the centre of my lips. I blended it smoothly with a brush. You have to provide the best pigmentation on the centre to get that perfect look. Here in this tutorial, blending is the most important thing and you must do it carefully.
Step 6:
To finish this look, I applied some more lip balm over the lipstick. This trick helps to provide a nice creamy glossy finish.
Violet Ombre Lip Makeup

First, you have to moisturize your lips well and then blot the excess lip balm to avoid greasiness.
Step 2:
To cancel out lip pigmentation, apply some concealer on the lips and around the mouth. Blend it with a sponge and apply some compact powder to set the concealer. This trick helps to hide the darkness around the lips and also provides a neutral colour so that the lip color appears brighter and perfect.
Step 3:
For this violet ombre lip makeup, I used a light violet and a dark violet lipstick. I used the violet shade to draw my lips and also contoured my lips with the same shade. It helps to give a nice structure to the lips.
Step 4:
Next, I applied the light pinkish violet lipstick on the centre of my lips with a lip brush. I blended the shade with a blending brush.
Step 5:
I mixed to matched the shades very well so that it looks very natural. To correct the line, I used a compact powder and applied it around the lip line.
