What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon, so you can enjoy it of a Sunday?

Mix water, white water-based color and glue in a 1:1:1 ratio

Add blue and red color to get lilac

Paint the pot leaving the top edge and the bottom unpainted; when dry, add a second coat

Find a lilac motiff you like and glue it to the the painted and dry pot

Embellish the top edge of the pot with a cotton lace

Conceal the junction by attaching a thin satin ribbon in a soft lilac, and make a bow

As a finishing touch, you can glue a large lavender lilac bead in the center and small wooden beads around it
