Prom is just around the corner and to be honest for all of us short-medium haired girls there aren’t too many choices. There is not much that you can do: either use extensions or straighten them. Sure, you can also curl them but it really depends on the technique you use to curl the hair.

Luxy Hair YouTube channel is already very popular and has racked up 3 million subscribers. They share everything when it comes to hairstyles, tricks, new techniques, braids etc. Lately they shared a new tutorial with three hairstyles that you can do for prom or a wedding and let me tell you: they’re to die for.

For this one, you have to part your hair in two sections. With the first side you will curl your hair away from your head, moving down to the lower parts of the hair. With the second side you are going to curl them towards your face, this time from the roots. You will have a beautiful contrast and everything about it oozes class. When you’re done, brush them and use a light spritz of hair spray to hold.

For hairstyle number two, take a section of hair from the top of your head and start teasing it to create more volume. Then take the hair that’s in the front and secure it in the back with bobby pins. With the rest of the hair, take it as you’re creating a ponytail and then twist it as you’re creating a bun but leave some hair loose. Secure it again with bobby pins and style the loose curls.

For the last one you are going to part your hair in the middle and then put your favorite jeweled hairband on. Taking hair from the front, start twisting it and securing it with bobby pins in the back. Repeat this on the other side too. When you’re done, take the rest of the hair and create a messy bun using bobby pins. Voila!
